Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

The song in my head

Speaks of Mary-lou,

Young leaves are green,

Sunflowers yellow,

It could have been

Somewhat mellow,

Beach sand is gold

And the night is dark,

My mind is old

And my heart is stark,

Your dress violet,

Oranges are orange,

I will not let

You ever change!

Bear fur is brown,

Children indigo,

Oh kill your frown

And say hello…

.

Can you guess?

Slumber

.

Now think of a number…

Can you feel the slumber

Taking over your mind

And your weakened body?

Leave all your doubts behind

To make yourself ready;

Let your mind float away

And listen to my voice,

Let the soft music sway

Your heart and make your choice,

Your eyes, they are heavy,

Quiet is night falling,

Listen in the silence,

Let open the levee,

Your old dreams are calling,

It’s time to take a chance.

Once you wake up again

You may not remember

All of this but will gain

More than restful slumber,

Now you are falling down

As slow as a feather,

You will not fear nor frown

The harsh and cold weather,

Instead you will feel live,

Oh you will feel hopeful,

Ready to jump and dive

Into the glass half full;

No excuse to make up,

It is time to wake up!

.

Je voudrais dormir…

.

J’ai envie de dormir

Mais quelque chose m’empêche.

Quelle est qui fait souffrir ?

Serait-ce cette flammèche

Qui, tout mon coeur, assèche,

Le faisant ainsi pourrir ?

Quelle paire d’yeux revêche

Me regarde sans sourire

Et sans remords me prêche,

Afin que je ne pèche,

“Oh, rien ne sert de courir

A point faut-il partir.” ?

Mais de pitance rèche

Je ne veux me nourir,

Ma volonté s’ébrèche,

Est-il temps de mourir ?

Poème de la veille que j’ai eu la flemme d’écrire/de terminer parce que fatigue. Voici.

L

.

Love is just life without ‘I’ but a ‘vie’,

It is hearts brought together as a we,

It is pain and pleasure altogether

And why all finally come to gather,

Life is just love with a capital L,

It can be heavens or it can be hell

But can’t be without one or the other

As child lacking the touch of its mother…

.

Not so sure about this one… We’ll see, only the future will tell.

The grave and the cold

.

On the desert shores of the new world

We say goodbye to the old

And this life, so full of maybes,

Now belongs to the brave and the bold,

Oh the times they are a changing

And we advance always forward

All united we are marching

Though rare are those who know what toward,

‘Tis this mystery that reveals the true

From the fakes and the lost,

Those who are ever pushing through

Whatever the risk, whatever the cost;

But heed this warning, my fellow friends,

Keep in mind your nature and your worth

For when everything finally ends

Nothing will count less than the state of your birth…

.

It was only supposed to rhyme every two verse but, oh well, genius… >.>

Just for one day

.

Please let me be your hero

Just for a day

Let me be your Superman

Just for one day

My confidence is greater than

Just for a day

The absolute zero

Just for one day

I promise I am worthy

For this one day

I promise I am strong

Just for a day

My feelings are not wrong

A single day

And my mind is earthy

.

I don’t really know where this came from but here goes anyway… Enjoy. ;)

.

Hero, hero

Hero, hero

Hero, hero

I wanna be a hero, hero

Glad you came

.

Despite the painful throes, despite the frenzied slings,

Despite the sharp arrows and their poisonous stings,

Of outrageous fortune that makes play seriously

Both fanfares, out of tune, simultaneously,

Those two, wildly ticking away as time would do,

And yet such nitpicking about which much ado,

And yet they remain mute to one another’s ears,

Thus matures the lone fruit stuck into the old gears,

Despite the strange wild cards that have somehow been dealt,

Despite the broken shards of all that has been felt,

Despite the obstacles which this life threw at us,

Or the dark spectacles which realities muss

Since the time we both met, despite those that rained down

Upon me or have yet to turn into a frown,

Despite the fact it feels we’ve already parted,

As if the world reveals it has never started,

I cannot say in truth that this life I regret,

I trust upon my youth I need not to forget,

For, see, my universe will never be the same;

What I mean by this verse is that I’m glad you came…

Silently slithering

.

So there is a snake

Silently slithering

Across sun and stars,

Swallowing centuries

Since the stellar smiles;

Some say someone

Or something sentient

Sent said serpent

So as to seek something.

It started small and sickly,

Somewhere silent and somber,

Feasting on sadness, sorrow,

Sincerely pursuing,

Selfishly consuming

Lost souls and spirits,

Subsequently swelling,

Such as someday

Sooner than expected,

Searching for something else,

Somehow seeing the sea

Should sooth the soul of the beast.

Surely this shall be so and save us.
