Child let me tell you this:
Do not falter, don’t waver,
Do not doubt nor quiver
When you follow your path;
Follow your strongest love,
And soar up high above,
Oh do not let others
Doubt your own decisions…

It goes about its day,
Not caring ’bout what may
Happen or may not be,
As carefree as a bee.
A sky with golden mane,
The ocean its domain,
Wandering aimlessly,
Marvelling gracefully,
At the world it can see,
Out there beyond the sea,
Only the horizon
Limits its vast kingdom,
Time itself can’t wizen,
It’s passion for freedom.

They tried to take me down,
They tried to make me drown,
Hateful words and comments,
No care for sentiments,
Their words cutting like knives,
-On my pain, oh it thrives!-
Tried to drive me crazy;
Everyday was hazy,
Drowned in a world of pain,
Trapped inside my own brain.
.
But at the end of the tunnel,
I saw a light, a bright fire,
And all this hate, I did channel,
To soar above, even higher.
A helping hand, just a kind word,
Helped me take arms, bring up my sword,
I could have fought but I did not,
Choosing to erase them from thought.
.
They tried to take me down,
They tried to make me drown,
But I stood up to them!
My friends, hear this anthem!
The pain, I shan’t forget,
Though never will I let
It rule over my life,
Again give in to strife.
For I am my own man,
The one who draws the plan,
Yes! I am now certain:
No matter gun or knife,
I am the sole captain
Of this ship that’s my life.

We know that violence solves all; fight fire with fire!
Despite whomever this truthful fact may appall,
The best solution -it is known-: to kill them all,
So as not to let the body count get higher.
As the saying goes: sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words will never truly hurt me. They are tame.
After all we stand above, upon golden thrones,
All free from any blame and basking in true fame.
Oh do know this, guns and bombs may shatter our home,
No matter! We will stand strong, face the enemy,
For we live in a land protected by free-dome,
And I will not let these strange, mad words affect me…

In the belly of its mother,
The seed, once nourished, grows stronger,
Flourishing with the good weather,
And without, just taking longer.
One day it sprouts out from the earth,
Fragile green spot against the world,
For itself creating a hearth,
Withstanding all that’s, towards it, hurled,
Reaching far up for the heaven,
To devour light so craven,
In its life, many trials cleared,
From birds and insects, a threat looms,
And there is always to be feared,
From the day it’s born ’til it blooms.

Not my best work, but it’ll have to do… x)

Many have wondered about the stars in his eyes
Without ever knowing the object of his mind
Many a question about what he really saw
Not even one answer as to what was his dream,
Though whenever he played the age-old instrument,
A rare dark wood cello, which to him was sacred,
His face became so bright, his smile became so wide,
Tears rose to his eyes and his large heart would swell
Some thought he looked at them, others he saw heaven,
Some ever thought he reached the love so long craven,
I, for one, dared to hope he’d chosen me for muse,
But in the end, not once, he truly looked at me…

Sky so blue, as the sea, gentle wind on my face,
Myriads of incredible things I’d like to try,
Oh I see so many possibilities, why?
For once the world seems to be moving to my pace…

Know you are what you are,
Not what people make you,
In your life you’re the star,
Don’t let their words break you.
.
.
I wish not for you to be mine,
But only to be together
And, really, no matter whether
We do or do not cross the line.
Your daily presence is my joy,
Your face is that of an angel,
Your voice is a welcomed jingle,
To me it’s true, even if coy…

My worst enemy, my worst fear, is boredom,
Though not as simple as not knowing what to do
Rather the one that no excitement can undo,
As an emperor sees only a dull kingdom.
