Unbroken

.

I should have let him win

And never struggled back,

I should have dropped my chin,

Remembered what I lack

But my pride was too strong,

My heart could not endure

And action was the cure,

Could I have been more wrong?

Loosing face was worth it,

Such a small price to pay,

I just had to submit,

His twisted game to play.

I chose then to resist,

To make him understand

I dance not in his hand

As long as I exist!

To late I realized

The truth of his intent,

That the plot he devised

Was not on me to vent…

Her life he has taken

Ripping away my heart,

Soon I will awaken,

Revenge is but the start!
